The Global Health eLearning Center is pleased to offer this course on Malaria. Learners taking this course will be oriented to key concepts about malaria, which is a leading cause of illness and death in the developing world and a significant drag on economic development. This course covers topics such as:

The course looks at various approaches for scaling up the use of insecticide-treated nets, such as free distribution, social marketing, and public-private partnerships. It also discusses the benefits of Indoor Residual Spraying (IRS) as well as important considerations to IRS implementation such as sustainability and feasibility.
