Adapted in part from Family Health International's (FHI's) Reproductive Health of Young Adults Module, this course pays close attention to the ways gender affects HIV/AIDS risks. It emphasizes HIV/AIDS and other health risks that early marriage poses for young women. The course also underlines the increased risk of maternal mortality, infection, hemorrhage, and fistula that is associated with early pregnancy.
