These e-Forums will be conducted through The Implementing Best Practices Knowledge Gateway. More than 4,600 people from over 100 countries have already joined together to take part in virtual discussion forums on the IBP Knowledge Gateway — a dynamic electronic communication tool that enables public health professionals around the world to share knowledge, ideas, lessons learned and program experiences. This ceremonial launch will provide an opportunity for the international development community in Washington, DC, and key family planning stakeholders to learn about the handbook and how it can help their programs. It will also provide an opportunity for the reproductive health community to thank local organizational and agency technical experts and partners who have made the handbook possible and also acknowledge the contributions from the leading programmatic agencies in developing the content and promoting the use of the book.
