HIPNet Library Mailing - English Materials 2005
These materials were part of a joint mailing organized by the Health Information and Publications Network (HIPNet) in 2005. The mailing went to 302 developing country libraries and included fifty-two different publications contributed by eighteen different organizations. By sending materials together, HIPNet was able to help each organization save money on postage and reach a targeted group of libraries who asked to receive the materials.
HIPNet plans to survey the libraries who received the materials to find out if the materials arrived in good shape, if the fit within the scope of the libraries' collections, and if they are now being used by patrons.
