Key Organizations Supporting Microbicide Development

Many organizations have provided substantial support for microbicide development. Some have given large grants to fund research. Others are conducting clinical trials. Still others are working to create public awareness of microbicides and help ensure that their introduction to the market will succeed.

The organizations listed below can provide further information about microbicides. Information also can be obtained from the biweekly e-mailed newsletter GC News, an international forum for exchange of information on microbicide development and other prevention options against STIs, including HIV/AIDS. To subscribe to the GC News, contact Global Campaign News, at http://www.global-campaign.org/signupGCNews.htm.
