This lengthy report provides a policy analysis,
documentation of current intervention models, and
community-based studies of trafficking of women in
Nepal. In addition to assessing the vulnerability
to girls and women in Nepal to trafficking, it places
the problem in the context of the emerging HIV epidemic
in the country. The report ends with recommendations
to strengthen the interventions to prevent trafficking,
providing care and support to trafficked women, as
well as proposing further research and evaluation
of the problem.
