Female Condom Research Briefs
A collection of research briefs on the female condom. Information includes the role of female condoms in family planning programs, their effectiveness, re-use issues, how female condom use affects male condom use, as well as some case studies of female condom introduction in South Africa and Kenya.

African Journal of AIDS Research (AJAR)
This new journal will publish papers that make an original contribution to understanding the social dimensions of HIV/AIDS in African contexts. AJAR should be of interest to researchers in sociology, demography, epidemiology, psychology, anthropology, media, cultural studies, nursing, health promotion, social work, and economics.

Bhutan Women and Children Organisation
This new Web site contains information on the status of Bhutanese women and children; the country Bhutan and its people and government; human rights situation activities, women's and children' rights; and links to other Bhutanese sites.

Basic Delivery Kit Guide

This step-by-step manual was designed for program managers who wish to develop a basic delivery kit as part of their integrated maternal and child health programs, this resource provides comprehensive and practical information on the design, development, distribution, and promotion of single-use, disposable delivery kits. The Guide explores the role of delivery kits in increasing the awareness and use of clean delivery practices by untrained and trained birth attendants as well as women delivering alone. A limited number of copies are available free-of-charge, and multiple copies may be ordered from PATH at $15 each. Bambisanani: Community Orientation to HIV/AIDS Prevention, Care, and Support PDF Format
This study was conducted by CADRE in collaboration with the Planned Parenthood Association of South Africa (Eastern Cape), and funded by USAID through the EQUITY Project and Management Sciences for Health. The findings cover the following areas of risk and prevention: understanding of HIV/AIDS; perception of and response to risk; sexual activity; number of partners; age at sexual debut; age differences between partners at sexual debut; age differences between youth sex partners; factors affecting sexual decision making; condom use; condom acquisition; and abstinence.
