The objectives of the second Interagency Youth Working Group (IYWG) meeting were:

  1. To present new research results and program experiences on youth RH/HIV.
  2. To share ideas for applying the latest knowledge and recommendations for program settings.

The agenda (see below) included an introduction to the IYWG. The morning session focused on working with parents to improve youth reproductive health and HIV outcomes. The afternoon session was focused on current research and program experiences for integrating HIV and reproductive health services for youth. The next day, December 7, the IYWG sponsored a half-day meeting on monitoring and evaluation for youth programs provided participants with the opportunity to learned how to address youth reproductive health measurement challenges at the community level.
