Save the Children is a non-profit relief and development organization working to create lasting, positive change in the lives of children in need in the United States and around the world. They work with families and communities to define and solve the problems children face, including a focus on adolescent reproductive and sexual health.
Using Male Motivators to Increase Family Planning Use Among Young Married Couples: Training Curriculum (PDF, 544 KB)
This five-day training curriculum aims to train male motivators, young men who enthusiastically use contraceptive methods with their partners, to act as educators and ambassadors to increase the contraceptive uptake of other young married couples. Using the Information-Motivation-Behavioral skills (IMB) theoretical model, this training curriculum seeks to educate and motivate male motivators with the appropriate skills. (2007)

The Reproductive Health of Young People in Ethiopia’s New Millennium: The Initiative to Save Young Generation’s Health Today (INSYGHT) Final Evaluation (PDF, 316 KB)
This report summarizes key results from an impact evaluation of the multi-component INSYGHT program in Oromia Region and Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Evaluation results showed that the intervention helped youth delay sexual debut, reduce high-risk sexual behaviors, access key health services, and discuss ARSH topics with parents. (2007)

This report presents the results of a qualitative study by the Healthy Women in Georgia Project (HWG) on the effectiveness of youth-friendly pharmacies (YFPs) in Kutaisi, Republic of Georgia.
